What MAP offers

Local health coverage for Travis County residents

MAP and MAP BASIC are local programs from Central Health, Travis County's hospital district. They cover medical care for qualifying residents with low income who do not have health insurance. They are not health insurance plans, and they are not federally funded.

Members can get care through Central Health's network of partner providers. Depending on your coverage level, that can include primary care visits, specialists, dental care, and prescription medications.
